Job Title: Infrastructure Architect

DP World is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Regional IT Project Delivery function, you will work closely with the Manager of Infrastructure Architecture to develop and implement IT strategies, technical strategies, and technical architecture roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement highly available and uniform infrastructure solutions to support key business applications and goals.
  2. Develop and maintain IT processes and vendor management to work with teams, PMO, and Manager of Infrastructure Architecture.
  3. Drive annual DR tests to be performed in the Data Centres, recorded, and information shared with the Audit team.
  4. Conduct strategic technology planning to achieve corporate goals.
  5. Design and implement information systems that will effectively support the architecture of the organization.
  6. Document process design and solutions to show how the current and future needs of the organization will be met in an efficient, flexible, scalable, and maintainable manner.
  7. Consider performance, fault tolerance, high-availability, disaster recovery, long-term support, licensing, 3rd party commitments, and obligations when providing solutions.
  8. Solution designs and architectures make allowances for business impacts, inter-system communication, security requirements, and industry best practices.
  9. Influence team members to ensure goals are achieved.
  10. Attend meetings and assist communication among teams, working closely with Manager Infrastructure Architecture on key projects.
Requirements:

A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business administration, or commerce, or a combination of equivalent professional training and certifications, combined with a minimum of 5 years related work experience in this or equivalent position(s). Requires a strong technical IT background with broad experience across a wide range of technologies, highly organized, and able to set priorities.
