Job Title: Part Time Management Accountant

Salary: c.£60,000 Pro Rata dependent upon experience + Profit Share Opportunity

Term: Permanent Position

Position Overview:

Our client, a leading company in the industry, is seeking a qualified Accountant with robust financial acumen to join their team as a Management Accountant. The successful candidate will oversee all financial activities of the company, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and manage monthly management accounts, offering detailed insights into financial performance.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyse income streams and provide forecast and profit/loss reports.
  • Financial Strategy: Implement strategies to improve financial performance, streamline operations, and maximize profitability.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide detailed financial reports.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with management to identify opportunities and constraints for company growth.
  • Financial Modelling: Model financial scenarios and provide recommendations based on analysis.
  • Financial Support: Work closely with the management team, particularly the CEO and COO, to deliver financial information and support strategic planning.
  • Board Meetings: Attend board meetings to discuss financial matters.
  • Team Management: Supervise one direct report.
  • Financial Systems: Utilise Sage and the CRM system for financial management.
  • Due Diligence: Due diligence preparation for potential buyers in the future.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5-10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Qualifications: You must be a fully qualified accountant.
  • Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Financial Modelling: Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
  • Financial Performance: Energetic self-starter with a keen awareness of financial performance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to work closely with key stakeholders and build strong relationships, particularly with the COO.
  • Confidentiality: Capacity to maintain confidentiality while handling financial matters.
  • Team Management: Experience managing a team.
  • Financial Systems: Proficiency in Sage and CRM systems.
Salary and Benefits:
  • Basic Salary: c.£60,000 per annum Full Time Equivalent - the salary would be Pro Rata for 3 or 4 days per week
  • Profit Share: Profit Share Opportunity
  • Benefits: Pension, 23 Days Annual Leave + 1 additional day per calendar year worked, up to 25 days
