Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Rullion Limited is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial department, you will play a critical role in managing all commercial aspects of your region and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce weekly and monthly cost/value reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Bridge the gap between operations and clients to agree client variations and changes to scope, providing variation justifications and agreeing these with clients in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with various departments to report and manage commercial performance of schemes in your region.
  • Attend monthly operational meetings to discuss regional performance of schemes, taking accountability for performance and ensuring appropriate actions are in place to resolve any underperformance.
  • Prepare client valuations and manage client relationships/disputes.
  • Manage client debt and establish strong relationships with clients.
  • Prepare final accounts for both clients and sub-contractors.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in the Utility sector commercial/financial environment.
  • Management and production of cost value reconciliation.
  • Experience working directly with clients.
  • Building internal and external relationships.
  • Proficient in use of Excel spreadsheets and document management packages.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Familiar with commercial contracts terms.
  • Previous experience dealing with client variations/changes of scope and getting these agreed with clients.
  • Experience leading meetings.
