About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Change Grow Live. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist clinical interventions to young people who use our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the nursing needs of young people, considering their medical, social, cultural, and family circumstances.
  • Develop and implement recovery plans, working collaboratively with other agencies and services as necessary.
  • Provide evidence-based practice around young people's substance misuse treatment services and methods, including relevant best practice guidance.
  • Employ a professional, empathetic, and non-judgmental attitude, promoting a safe and supportive environment for service users.
  • Contribute to clinical auditing and evaluation of the service, identifying areas for development and improvement.
About You
  • First-level registered nurse with recent relevant post-qualification experience and a current PIN.
  • Experience of working with young people and knowledge of substance misuse treatment services and methods.
  • Sound and demonstrable knowledge of harm reduction and health promotion interventions.
  • Ability to assess and recovery plan service users and formulate written reports, as necessary.
  • Clinical auditing skills to inform evaluation of the service and identify areas for development.
