Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are working alongside our client, a leading Food and Beverage Manufacturing Company, based in Co. Armagh, to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking planned maintenance, breakdown, repair, refurbishment, installation, modification, and improvements to the plant and its services to minimize downtime and maintain the equipment throughout the client's site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake planned maintenance and repairs to electrical systems and equipment
  • Perform breakdown and emergency repairs to electrical systems and equipment
  • Refurbish, install, modify, and improve electrical systems and equipment
  • Minimize downtime and maintain equipment throughout the client's site
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure effective maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
Requirements:
  • Electrically qualified with time served plus 2 years within a FMCG environment, ideally within food production
  • Mechanical and welding experience also desirable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong planning, organization, and communication skills
  • The ability to problem-solve, work well under pressure, and have a can-do attitude
