We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a visible security presence in our hospital environment, responding promptly to incidents and emergencies.
  • Work collaboratively with our operational teams to provide a comprehensive support service, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all.
  • Conduct regular security patrols of hospital car parks, grounds, and buildings, identifying and reporting any suspicious activity or potential security risks.
  • Respond to alarm activations, fire incidents, and other emergencies, taking appropriate action to ensure the safety of all individuals.
  • Provide escort duties and reception services from the security control room, as required.
Requirements
  • SIA license for static guarding/door supervisor.
  • Conflict resolution/physical intervention qualification.
  • Good general education.
  • Experience of conflict management, violence, and aggression.
  • Basic IT skills and ability to communicate effectively.
