Odin Recruitment is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a prominent manufacturing organization with multiple facilities across the UK.

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for managing both reactive and scheduled maintenance tasks, ensuring that operational excellence is maintained. Your role will involve troubleshooting issues, diagnosing faults in machinery, and implementing effective solutions.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and addressing reactive maintenance on high-speed industrial equipment.
  • Performing electrical repairs and addressing breakdowns.
  • Diagnosing both electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations at all times.
  • Collaborating within a skilled maintenance team.
  • Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Engaging in PLC fault diagnosis.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and installations.

Essential Skills:
  • Qualified in Electrical Engineering (Time-Served).
  • Possession of HNC/ONC/HND NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) engineering environment is preferred.
  • Proficient in PLC fault-finding, particularly with Siemens Inverters and Drives.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
