Job Title: Business Development Manager at Birketts

This role is pivotal in advancing our business development and marketing initiatives. The focus will be on supporting our expansion efforts and enhancing our market presence.

As the Business Development Manager, you will collaborate closely with our Partners to execute the strategic plan and operational objectives. Your duties will encompass facilitating lead generation, organizing promotional events, managing proposals, and overseeing marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with leadership to formulate and implement the business development strategy, operational plan, and financial budget. Track expenditures and evaluate return on investment. Ensure that business development initiatives align with established goals and budgetary constraints.

Lead Generation

Work in conjunction with the CRM and Data Team to enhance lead generation efforts for the Partners. Identify potential clients and opportunities to elevate the office's visibility.

Event Coordination

Assist in the planning and execution of events and sponsorship activities.

Proposal Management

Provide support and direction to the Proposals Team on projects related to the office.

Directory and Award Submissions

Oversee the submission process for legal directories relevant to the office.

Marketing Materials

Supervise the development of marketing collateral for the office.

Promotion Strategies

Identify and pursue opportunities to showcase the office's achievements.

Candidate Profile

Proven experience in business development and marketing. Strong understanding of the local market dynamics. Self-driven with exceptional communication abilities. Capable of thriving under pressure and meeting deadlines. Effective team collaborator.

Qualifications and Experience

Familiarity with marketing and business development methodologies. Ability to function effectively within a team environment. Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities. Excellent project management and service delivery skills. Commitment to personal development and initiative. Proficient in proofreading, copywriting, and Excel. Knowledge of CRM systems is essential. Experience with desktop publishing tools is advantageous.
