Senior Java Developer / Software Engineer (Java SQL Networking)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our small, Agile team. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software applications using core Java within a TDD environment deploying to AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality software applications using core Java
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality code
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Work closely with the team to identify and resolve technical issues

Requirements:

  • Strong backend core Java development skills
  • Experience with TDD and automated testing frameworks
  • Good knowledge of SQL and Networking (TCP/IP)
  • Thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Algorithms, Design Patterns
  • Collaborative and problem-solving skills
