Residential Conveyancing Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Residential Conveyancing Fee-earner to join our client's busy and growing law firm in Dorking. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied caseload in a supportive environment with flexibility and no set targets or completion quotas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion, including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new builds.
  • Provide clear, concise advice to clients and maintain regular communication throughout the process.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and third parties to ensure smooth and efficient transactions.
  • Draft and review contracts and legal documents, ensuring compliance with current legislation and firm policies.
  • Ensure high standards of file management and adhere to regulatory requirements such as SRA and AML regulations.
  • Work independently with administrative support, while collaborating with other team members to achieve excellent results.

This role is ideal for a qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Chartered Conveyancer with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience. A sliding scale salary is offered for more experienced candidates, and all levels are encouraged to apply.
