The Role

We're seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team as a Trainee Manager. This 12-month development program will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a future Store Manager. You'll work closely with your Store Manager to develop your operational, service, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive store performance by maximizing sales opportunities and optimizing KPI performance.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to drive business growth through customer loyalty and repeat purchases.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product range and provide expert advice to customers.
  • Take ownership of your wine knowledge and continuously learn about our products to support your WSET qualification.
  • Ensure the physical appearance and maintenance of your store are of the highest standard.
  • Participate in all operational tasks to gain a thorough understanding of store operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve store operations and implement changes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, processes, and complete mandatory training.
  • Take ownership of your development and utilize available resources.
  • Be an example of Majestic's Ways of Working and provide support to junior team members.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality environment.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience and service.
  • Prioritize and problem-solve in high-pressure environments.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a team environment.
  • Adaptable and resilient to meet changing business demands.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Wine knowledge is beneficial, but a passion to learn is essential.
  • Hold a full UK/EU/EEA driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
