Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Safety Manager to join our team at Integral UK Ltd. As a Control of Works Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the safety of all works across our site, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with our company's health and safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor all high and low-risk activities carried out on site, liaising with contractors, project managers, engineering, and soft services teams.
  • Issue permits for high-risk activities such as working at height, ground disturbance, hot works, etc.
  • Review and provide comments on Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Write Risk Assessments and Method Statements for the engineering team.
  • Liaise with contractors and work owners on a daily basis.
  • Conduct daily work safety audits.
  • Undertake regular job-related training.

Requirements:

  • Very good understanding of health and safety regulations and guidance for disciplines such as working at heights, hot works, lifting operations, etc.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Comfortable engaging with clients, contractors, senior management, etc.
  • Proficient in IT skills such as Word, Smartsheet, and Excel.
  • Can work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and others.
  • Minimum of 3 years working within the facilities management industry.
  • IOSH passed within the last 2 years.
  • Preferred - Previously issued high-risk permits such as working at height, hot works, etc.
  • Preferred IPAF, PASMA.
