We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler/Fitter to join our team at Omega Resource Group. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting mechanical components with precision and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and fit mechanical components according to specifications and quality standards
- Operate various machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of production processes and workflows
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet production targets and deadlines
- Relevant experience in mechanical assembly and fitting
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and components
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A competitive salary of £38,543 per annum, inclusive of shift allowance
- A comprehensive benefits package, including 5% pension and life cover
- 25 days holiday + 9 bank holidays, plus overtime paid at 1.25 times the hourly rate
