Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Finance team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our pump rental business unit to deliver high-quality financial reporting and insights to our Executive and Senior Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Create and develop reports using PowerBI and other tools to provide key customer and branch information to the wider business unit.
  • Performance Monitoring: Report on current and future performance, growth, and productivity based KPIs to various stakeholders and advise accordingly to support commercial decision-making.
  • Business Partnership: Build partnerships and strong relationships with all senior managers to aid collaboration and achieve business growth ambitions.
  • Reporting Process Development: Support and mentor the Asset Management accountant to develop the reporting process.
  • Business Case Development: Produce business cases for further investment, including property, people, and product, to ensure we are investing in the right products at the right time.
  • Process Improvement: Challenge current ways of working and drive efficiencies wherever possible, while continuously improving working standards.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience: Previous demonstrable experience in a Management Accountant, Finance Partner/Advisor, or Financial Analyst role. Qualified or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ICAW/ACA qualifications.
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to undertake a range of financial and business modelling tasks. Experience in using IT & Systems to analyze and manipulate data, such as advanced features on Excel.
  • Soft Skills: Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience in using initiative to resolve issues and queries, as and when they arise.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year.
