The successful Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects typically valued at less than €5 million.


Project Execution:
Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring successful completion within scope, cost, quality, and schedule constraints. Ensure projects are delivered on budget and meet customer expectations within commercial constraints.

Financial Performance:
Accountable for the financial results of the project, including achieving margin goals and managing man-hour estimates. Monitor and control project expenses to ensure alignment with budget.

Project Organisation:

Organise and lead the project team, providing strong direction and fostering a culture of ownership to meet project objectives.


Schedule Management:
Plan and maintain the project schedule, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.

Stakeholder Reporting:
Report project developments to various stakeholders, including Project Review Meetings and customers. Provide regular updates on project status and progress.

Standard Compliance:
Ensure all tasks are aligned with GEA's standard practices and procedures. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Customer Management:
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction throughout project execution. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met.

To be successful in this role of Project Manager, we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:


  • Degree in Engineering.
  • More than 3 years experience as a commercial project manager in a manufacturing, engineering, pharmaceutical, or chemical environment.
  • Relevant project management certification.
  • Proficiency in applying project management methodologies and skills in commercial project management.
  • Experience in handling legal and contractual matters.
