Job Role
We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Riverview, a residential service that provides personalized support to adults with Autism, behaviours that challenge, acquired brain injury, and learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations, improving quality of life and promoting community integration.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring the needs of each individual are met.
- Provide daily living skills support, including personal care, and encourage individuals to participate in activities such as swimming, pub visits, and personal shopping.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support is provided.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with adults with complex needs, preferably in a residential setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Basic knowledge of DBS checks and the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
