Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician

About the Role
University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our Clinical Trials team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for setting up trials, ensuring their smooth operation, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Setup and management of clinical trials, including accurate record keeping and drug accountability
- Liaising with Clinical Research Associates and other stakeholders to ensure trial workflow is completed efficiently
- Supporting the dispensing of clinical trials prescriptions and maintaining accurate records
- Providing high-quality research and care for patients in all specialties
Requirements
- Registered Pharmacy Technician in the UK by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Numerate and literate GCSE in Maths and English (A* to C or equivalent)
- Additional pharmacy qualifications, such as Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) or Pre and In Processing Checking (PIPC) medicine management accreditation
- Experience of staff management and operational workload supervision
