About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently and safely in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting, while maintaining their dignity and confidentiality.
- Encourage clients to participate in activities that promote their physical, intellectual, and emotional well-being, such as reading, playing games, or simply chatting.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, adhering to our organization's policies and procedures.
- Document tasks and observations accurately, using our digital care planning system.
- Participate in regular reviews of client care plans, contributing to the development of personalized support strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- PVG membership or willingness to obtain.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform care tasks.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Social Care related qualifications, such as SVQ in Social Care.
- UK Driving Licence and access to a car.
- Previous care experience.
