About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently and safely in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting, while maintaining their dignity and confidentiality.
  • Encourage clients to participate in activities that promote their physical, intellectual, and emotional well-being, such as reading, playing games, or simply chatting.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, adhering to our organization's policies and procedures.
  • Document tasks and observations accurately, using our digital care planning system.
  • Participate in regular reviews of client care plans, contributing to the development of personalized support strategies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
  • PVG membership or willingness to obtain.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform care tasks.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Social Care related qualifications, such as SVQ in Social Care.
  • UK Driving Licence and access to a car.
  • Previous care experience.
