- Clinical Expertise
- Assess potential donors to ensure they meet the necessary health and safety criteria for blood donation.
- Use clinical expertise and judgment to make critical decisions that affect donor safety and the overall quality of the service.
- Quality and Safety
- Ensure the safe running of blood donation sessions.
- Identify and address any team issues or concerns that may impact the quality of care.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Develop effective communication strategies to engage with team members, donors, and other stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners to achieve shared goals.
- Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Nurse with current Nursing and Midwifery Council registration.
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a healthcare setting.
