Job Title: Senior RF/MW Filter Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF/MW Filter Design Engineer to join our team at Dover Corporation. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing filters that meet customer requirements and will work closely with production to continually improve design and design methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design filters using simulation software such as PCFilt, Eagleware, or CST to meet customer requirements.
  • Interface with production to improve design and design methodologies.
  • Respond to potential orders (Request for Quotes (RFQ)) for feasibility of electrical and mechanical specifications.
  • Use Electronic Test Equipment (Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, and Volt Meter) to tune and test filters and test passive and active circuits.
  • Design and utilize various analog circuit designs (and digital circuit design where required).
  • Design RF/MW filters in several topologies, with a focus on lumped element and ceramic resonator filters.
  • Develop filter synthesis, simulation, and analysis software to design or modify filter designs.
  • Train and mentor others in filter design and synthesis.
  • Participate in in-depth design discussions to establish filter definition and increase filter understanding.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
  • Extensive knowledge of test equipment, including signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power equipment, environmental chambers, and network analyzers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • 10 years of technical experience.
  • Advanced level of computer skills.

Work Environment:
