Job Title: Senior RF/MW Filter Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF/MW Filter Design Engineer to join our team at Dover Corporation. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing filters that meet customer requirements and will work closely with production to continually improve design and design methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design filters using simulation software such as PCFilt, Eagleware, or CST to meet customer requirements.
  • Interface with production to improve design and design methodologies.
  • Respond to potential orders (Request for Quotes (RFQ)) for feasibility of electrical and mechanical specifications.
  • Use Electronic Test Equipment (Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, and Volt Meter) to tune and test filters and test passive and active circuits.
  • Design and utilize various analog circuit designs and digital circuit design where required.
  • Design RF/MW filters in several filter topologies, including lumped element and ceramic resonator filters.
  • Design bandpass, notch filters, diplexers, and multiplexers, and have an understanding of filter design for space and high-power applications.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and possess an advanced level of computer skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering plus 10 years of technical experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in the design and utilization of various analog circuit designs and digital circuit design where required.
  • Demonstrated RF/MW filter design knowledge and competence working in several filter topologies.
  • Mastery of filter synthesis, simulation, and analysis software to design or modify filter designs based on proven filter methods and techniques.
  • Regularly participates in in-depth design discussions that result in establishing filter definition as well as increasing filter understanding.
