About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Core Linux Systems Engineer to join our team at Quant Capital. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our high-performance Linux-based trading platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and efficient Linux systems architecture
  • Develop and maintain complex shell scripts and automation tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Linux technologies and advancements
  • Contribute to the development of our proprietary trading systems
Requirements
  • Strong background in STEM education, preferably in Computer Science
  • Deep knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting
  • Experience with modern Linux concepts, such as C, sockets, and virtual memory
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and debugging tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
