Electrical Engineering Supervisor

Reporting to the Senior Site Electrical Engineer, the role of the Electrical Engineering Supervisor is to oversee site electrical infrastructure and associated installation, maintenance, and compliance activities.

To support electrical project engineering and maintenance activities and other peer group requirements. To act as deputy to the Senior Site Electrical Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure electrical infrastructure compliance with all relevant regulations regarding technical aspects (legal and GMP)
  • Manage inventories of equipment and supplies
  • Oversee activities of technicians and contractors assigned to work areas to assure compliance with company, state, and federal agency guidelines
  • Manage vendors, external employees, or contract workers
  • Schedule and undertake corrective and planned electrical maintenance
  • Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and manage multiple contracts with external vendors performing electrical design, installation, and maintenance
  • Meet the requirements for registration with the Engineering Council as EngTech

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience of Electrical Engineering in manufacturing maintenance programme
  • Strong communication skills with customers, design teams, contractors, and management
  • Action-oriented skills; good problem-solving, technical learning, time management, and prioritizing skills
  • Knowledge of Trimble / Amtech ProDesign and fast Test software desirable
  • Knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in FDA regulated facility
