Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance
• Proactively identify early warning indicators and remediation solutions to ensure project delivery
• Lead comprehensive portfolio reviews with stakeholders at all levels of the business
• Use metrics and analysis to ensure quality standards are being met and drive course correction when required
• Develop and maintain annual assurance plans, devising best practice strategies in collaboration with the Head of Enterprise PMO
• Liaise with audit teams and support the remediation of any key findings - Reporting and Data
• Own and deliver the reporting and data strategy for Enterprise PMO
• Lead and deliver the quality improvement of reporting and data, regularly reviewing usage and collaborating with stakeholders to determine reporting purpose and how it might be enhanced over time to drive greater insights
• Provide high-quality reporting, transforming data from multiple data sources and building multidimensional data models
• Identify information gaps and areas of low-quality data, then drive continuous improvements in collaboration with stakeholders - Engagement
• Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure a single version of the truth for projects and programmes
• Lead groups of diverse stakeholders to common assurance and reporting goals, modifying style to interact effectively
• Challenge in a fair and unbiased manner at all levels of the organisation, providing advice and guidance to stakeholders as required - Measuring Success
• Accurate analysis that contributes to a reduction in project/programme issues and supports the successful completion of projects to time, cost, and scope
• High adoption/usage stats for reports with key insights used in decision-making by stakeholder groups
• Reporting and data accuracy – reports contain quality up-to-date data without errors, anomalies, and inconsistencies
• Reduction in waste and inefficiency in PMO processes with successful automation driving a move to more value-add tasks
Skills and Experience:
• Strong analysis and critical thinking skills to analyse project information and data, with strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with governance and assurance of both waterfall and agile initiatives
• Meticulous attention to detail alongside the ability to assess findings in an unbiased manner and present them with the right level of detail for different audiences
• Strong ability to lead and drive work to successful conclusion, collaborating with and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the business
• Expert technical skills in Power BI, data modelling, report optimization, visualization, complex DAX, Power Query, M, and Dataverse
• Experienced in using workflows and automation tools with a keen interest in emerging technology
