Key Qualifications:
To be considered for the Electronics Support Specialist role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- A Higher National Diploma (HND) or Degree in an Engineering discipline such as Electronics or Mechatronics.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial design, support, or testing.
Essential Skills:
Candidates should demonstrate knowledge in various electronic applications, particularly Electric Motion Control for industrial settings. Additional requirements include:
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
- Familiarity with PLCs and programming languages such as Ladder Logic or Structured Text.
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols, including EtherNet IP, PROFINET, and/or IO-Link.
- A valid driving license and passport.
Role Responsibilities:
The successful Electronics Support Specialist will address technical inquiries, assist with customer applications, and conduct fault diagnosis for a variety of products, including motion control systems and actuators. Responsibilities also include:
- Setting up and programming PLCs, motor drivers, and industrial communication systems.
- Embracing challenges and confidently engaging in customer-facing interactions.
- Developing and delivering training programs, as well as creating operational manuals.
- Occasional travel may be required.
