Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a global consumer manufacturing company in the Wakefield area. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance and Repair: Service, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner.
  2. Condition Monitoring: Examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements.
  3. Planned Maintenance: Carry out planned and preventative maintenance to agreed schedules.
  4. Process Improvement: Share good ideas to form mini projects to improve plant performance, including machinery modifications.

Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or maintenance, or equivalent.
  2. Experience: HND or HNC diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
