Job Summary

We are seeking a Wellbeing Support Worker to join our team in Headington, Oxford. As a Wellbeing Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to live their best lives at home. You will work closely with our team to provide personalized care and support, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and support to individuals in their homes, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being.
  • Assist with light cleaning, laundry, shopping, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Support individuals with personal care needs, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Accompany individuals to medical appointments, day centers, and social activities.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in Headington, Oxford, and be willing to cycle between visits (up to 15 minutes).
  • No prior care experience is required; full training will be provided.
  • Compassion, respect, and a desire to support people in their community.
  • Availability to work alternate weekends and weekdays.
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate (£14 per hour for time spent supporting individuals in their homes and £12 per hour for other time).
  • Weekly paid team meetings and buddy time.
