Job SummaryWe are seeking a Wellbeing Support Worker to join our team in Headington, Oxford. As a Wellbeing Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to live their best lives at home. You will work closely with our team to provide personalized care and support, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized care and support to individuals in their homes, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being.
- Assist with light cleaning, laundry, shopping, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Support individuals with personal care needs, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Accompany individuals to medical appointments, day centers, and social activities.
- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Ability to work in Headington, Oxford, and be willing to cycle between visits (up to 15 minutes).
- No prior care experience is required; full training will be provided.
- Compassion, respect, and a desire to support people in their community.
- Availability to work alternate weekends and weekdays.
- Competitive hourly rate (£14 per hour for time spent supporting individuals in their homes and £12 per hour for other time).
- Weekly paid team meetings and buddy time.
- Full-time, part-time, or flexi roles available.
- 30 days annual leave inclusive of public holidays (pro-rata for part-time workers) + birthday off work.
