Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum + annual bonus
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Outdoor and Cycle Concepts Ltd. As a key member of our retail management team, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of our store, including inventory management, stock control, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with inventory management and stock control to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient stockroom operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist with sales strategies and initiatives to drive sales growth and meet sales targets.
- Lead and manage a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of store visual merchandising and display standards.
- Assist with the management of store budgets and financial performance.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in retail management, preferably in an outdoor or apparel/footwear background.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Knowledge of outdoor products and a passion for the outdoors.
