Job Title: Fashion Assistant Buyer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fashion Assistant Buyer to join our team at dSb Recruitment Consultancy Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Buyer in completing and issuing costing packs
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Contribute to range building, including style confirmation, colours, and product development
  • Attend fit meetings to ensure accurate product fit
  • Review lab dips, bulk fabric, and trim approval submissions to ensure quality standards are met
  • Manage the department's critical path to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Conduct trend research and competitor analysis to inform buying decisions
  • Attend key internal and supplier meetings to stay informed and provide updates
  • Review and present best sellers in line with weekly trading meetings

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the buying cycle, critical paths, and sample management as a Buying Assistant, Trainee Buyer, or Assistant Buyer from another apparel brand
  • Understanding of garment construction and fabrics
  • Ability to produce and edit CAD documents and tech packs

This is a hybrid role with 1 day work from home and the remaining days onsite. The ideal candidate will have the full right to work in the UK and be in commuting distance to our head office.
