Interim Menswear Buyer

dSb is proud to be partnering with multi-channel fashion brand who offer uncompromising style, quality in each of their products. The business is looking to appoint an Interim Menswear Buyer on a 12 month contract basis to be responsible for sourcing a commercial and fashionable ranges



Key responsibilities include:


  • Present your developed range for sign off to senior management
  • Sourcing new suppliers where needed and work with them to make any required admentments
  • Chairing supplier meetings and travelling to factories/mills when required in the UK and Internationally
  • Involved in the product development, working alongside QA and Design to ensure the best fabric selection, garment fit and compliant product ranges.
  • Manage the development process within an agreed critical path
  • Management of a team
  • Aware of competitor movements so your range stays current and relevant to the target customer


Candidates will need:


  • Knowledge of relevant garment / products / fabrics and construction
  • Negotiation skills - ability to work with suppliers to agree the best price for a product
  • Sourcing - ability to find new suppliers and bring contacts to the supplier portfolio
  • Highly numerate, work with margin calculations and budgets
  • Experienced Junior Buyer or Buyer with ownership for developing their own apparel range



This role is offered on a hybrid working business which requires 3-4 days working in the office and remainder working from home.

Candidates will need to be based in local region and accessible to the head office and have the required right to work in the UK.
