About the Role:
Join a nurturing environment as a Childcare Practitioner where you will play a vital role in the development and care of young children. This position offers a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week within a supportive and friendly team.

Location:
Situated in a picturesque setting, the nursery is conveniently accessible via public transport and provides ample parking for staff. Nearby amenities include a supermarket and a café, along with local green spaces for leisurely walks during breaks.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to cater to each child's unique needs; observe, plan, and assess developmental activities while maintaining accurate records and regular communication with families.
  • Assist the Room Leader in integrating nursery initiatives within the classroom, ensuring adherence to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Address parent inquiries professionally and courteously, directing them to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
  • Support the induction of new staff members to ensure a consistent approach to care.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous experience in a childcare setting.
  • Relevant qualification in Early Years Education – Level 3.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, safeguarding practices, and pediatric first aid.
  • Current DBS certification.
