Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering Team on a 4 on 4 off Days and Nights basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing reactive and Planned Maintenance, ensuring standards are met, and implementing solutions to diagnose faults and identify problems on machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mechanical maintenance tasks on conveyors, hydraulics, gearboxes, ovens, mixers, pneumatics, and other equipment
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Ensure a safe working environment and adhere to Health & Safety protocols
Requirements:
  • UK Recognised engineering qualification, Mechanical apprenticeship, or City & Guilds NVQ Level 3, ONC, or HND in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience working in Heavy industrial, Food, Pharmaceutical, or General FMCG sites
