We are seeking a Transportation Engineer to become a vital part of our team. Position Overview & Key Responsibilities
You will play a crucial role in supporting the engineering design services at Marston Holdings, focusing on the execution of transportation and highway initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Contributing to the development of diverse Transportation & Highway projects, including the preparation of drawings and designs at various stages (Concept, Preliminary & Detailed Design) in line with established standards and guidelines.
  • Executing technical assignments as directed by project and senior managers.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of tasks while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Overseeing and mentoring junior staff and assistant engineers on a daily basis.
  • Coordinating project execution involving multiple design teams or service areas.
  • Providing support to junior team members, including CAD Technicians, Graduates, and Apprentices.
  • Performing additional duties as necessary to facilitate the operations of the organization.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Highways Design.
  • Progress towards professional membership with ICE/CIHT.
  • Technical proficiency in highways engineering.
  • Strong experience with AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with Civils 3D.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety and CDM regulations.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
