Role Overview

  • Manage the coordination of primary third-party suppliers, including logistics providers, ensuring effective booking and fostering relationships to enhance service quality.
  • Oversee the transportation of kegs associated with Wellpark production into the TCB logistics network, including the return of empty kegs from clients and distribution centers.
  • Facilitate the movement of finished goods from Wellpark production into the TCB logistics framework.
  • Coordinate the transport of Wellpark-produced stock to TNI and Clonmel.
  • Manage inter-depot stock transfers within TCB.
  • Oversee inbound logistics from external suppliers into the TCB network.
  • Coordinate primary transport for customer deliveries across our GB beer and cider volumes.
  • Optimize primary vehicle load efficiency and achieve on-time, in-full (OTIF) targets.
  • Assist in coordinating deliveries to primary customers, including return lanes, in the most cost-effective manner, while identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports related to the operations mentioned above.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments across the supply chain to ensure all primary movements align with objectives, including Health & Safety, Quality, Service, Sustainability, and Cost.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, with a successful track record in a similar capacity.
  • Background in a fast-paced and complex distribution environment.
  • Certificate of Professional Competency is advantageous.
  • Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) setting is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to work independently and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of communicating across all organizational levels.
  • Results-oriented with a proven history of achieving success.
  • Ability to meet tight and challenging deadlines.
