In Technology Group Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Support Engineer to provide comprehensive IT support and guidance in a busy legal environment.
- Day-to-Day IT Support: Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support to users across the business, troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Oversee the ongoing health, maintenance, and administration of the firm's IT infrastructure, ensuring uptime, reliability, and efficiency.
- System Upgrades & Projects: Lead and participate in IT projects, including software updates, hardware installations, and systems migrations.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring smooth delivery of IT services and managing hardware/software purchases.
- Compliance: Ensure that all IT processes and systems comply with relevant data protection regulations and legal sector requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Technical Proficiency: Strong experience in supporting Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10, Active Directory, Exchange, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience in a Legal Environment: Familiarity with legal-specific applications such as case management systems, document management solutions, and time recording software would be advantageous.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven experience in a senior support role, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues promptly and effectively.
- Project Management: Experience leading IT projects, from system upgrades to the deployment of new technologies.
- Security Knowledge: Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, and remote access security.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with legal professionals, IT staff, and external providers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree: In Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- Professional certifications: Such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support roles, with at least 2 years in a senior capacity.
