Additional Information about the Role:

The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust provides vital healthcare services to a population of around half a million residents in the surrounding areas. The Trust also offers specialized services across the UK and Europe. Located in a picturesque city, the Trust benefits from excellent transportation links, making it accessible to various regions.

As a Blood Collection Specialist, you will play a significant role within the hospital, trained to meet patients and collect essential blood samples as part of their treatment at the main site. Previous experience in phlebotomy is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive training and support will be provided.

We are particularly interested in candidates who exhibit outstanding interpersonal skills and can approach patient interactions with empathy and respect.

The service utilizes a computerized ordering and collection system, so familiarity with IT systems from previous roles or personal experience is beneficial.

Candidates must be prepared to work on a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays.

Working Schedule: hours per week, distributed over five mornings.
