Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage import and export activities, ensuring adherence to all laws and regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs, contributing to the efficient and secure movement of goods across borders.

Key Responsibilities:

* Utilize your import-export background to ensure sites comply with relevant import and export regulations.
* Oversight of the preparation, submission, and review of import-export documentation, including customs declarations, licenses, permits, and shipping records, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Submission of TSS declarations for the movement of goods from the UK into Northern Ireland.
* Conduct risk assessments on import and export operations.
* Review compliance with internal policies, procedures, and external regulations, reporting any non-compliance and recommending corrective actions.
* Stay up to date with the latest import and export regulations, tariffs, sanctions, and trade agreements.
* Provide training and guidance to employees and stakeholders on import and export compliance matters and best practice.

Requirements:

* Proven hands-on experience in import-export compliance, customs regulations, and international trade.
* Knowledge of rules of origin, preferential and non-preferential.
* Experience of CDS and TSS systems and ideally AIS.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
