Job Title: Senior Regulatory Toxicologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Toxicologist to join our team at Ramboll Group A/S. As a key member of our Product Safety and Stewardship team, you will play a crucial role in delivering toxicological programmes for innovative projects in the field of food and consumer product safety.

About the Role

As our new Senior Regulatory Toxicologist, you will be responsible for contributing to the design and management of toxicological programmes, including the preparation of human health exposure modelling, risk assessments, study summaries, waivers, and other regulatory documentation. You will work closely with other specialists to deliver technical work and provide general regulatory and scientific consultancy to clients.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the input of toxicological data summaries and data interpretation into regulatory systems such as IUCLID or EFSA Portal and its submission to regulatory agencies or to clients;
  • Working with multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver technical work, including preparation of human health exposure modelling, risk assessments, study summaries, waivers, and other regulatory documentation;
  • Assisting with the completeness/quality review of scientific data according to current European Regulations, Directives, and guidelines;
  • Providing general regulatory and scientific consultancy to clients as required;
  • Peer reviewing summary dossiers and regulatory documentation prepared by other Ramboll consultants;
  • Supporting members of your project team and colleagues with any project issues they may encounter and providing advice to clients;
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the current and future regulatory landscape, attending conferences to keep up to date with developments in the appropriate laws and guidance;
  • Providing support to business development activities by providing industry expertise when needed during visits to clients, through discussion and responses to new project briefs and administration.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Regulatory Toxicologist with a specialisation or degree in toxicology, chemistry, biology, or a related discipline. You will have a higher degree in toxicology, such as a MSc and/or PhD equivalents, and relevant regulatory experience preferably in food and/or consumer product safety. You will also have experience in writing toxicological reports for stakeholders and skills in chemical read-across would be beneficial.

You will have excellent communication skills in written and verbal English, and additional languages would be an asset. You will be a team player with a strong ability to work collaboratively with others and provide support to colleagues as needed.
