Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Relief Service Delivery Driver to join our team at Johnsons Workwear Ltd. As a Relief Service Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and returning stock to our Birmingham plant, ensuring compliance with transport industry regulations, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload vehicles into designated areas
  • Ensure a sufficient supply of sundry items, such as repair labels and bags
  • Collect and deliver items, load and empty OPD lockers, and exchange dust control mats as per documentation
  • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork
  • Establish and maintain good customer relationships and act as a liaison between customers and the company
  • Support the transport manager in covering routes for absent drivers
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required

Working Hours:

40-hour week, Monday to Friday

Requirements:

  • Multi-drop delivery driver experience: 6 months
  • 7.5 tonne driving experience: 6 months
  • HGV Category C Driving Licence (required)
  • DCPC card and Digital Tachograph Card (required)
