Electrical & Instrumentation Project Officer

Are you looking for a challenging role in a dynamic team? We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical & Instrumentation Project Officer to join our Major Projects Team in Scotland.

As a Project Officer, you will be part of a team working on gas infrastructure projects, including transmission pipelines and above-ground installations. You will be responsible for project planning, financial management, and site supervision to ensure compliance with legislation and policies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Projecting and financially managing projects from initial scoping to commissioning and handover to asset owners.
  • Supervising and monitoring onsite construction activities to ensure compliance with Legislation and Policies.
  • Coordinating project-related activities and interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.

Travel is essential in this role, and projects are based all over Scotland with main offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow. You may also be required to visit locations around the UK for training or to support team activities.

We are looking for a candidate with a recognised engineering qualification and experience of working in an engineering, construction, or gas/Petro-Chemical environment in an E&I field. Construction and/or Project Management experience, ideally working on UK Gas distribution/transmission networks, is desirable. A full and clean UK Driving Licence is also required.
