Accounting Role at Puro Accountancy

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team at Puro Accountancy. As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for handling bookkeeping tasks, VAT returns, and preparing full sets of statutory year-end accounts and tax returns.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing occasional ad hoc accounting or tax-related support and directly engaging with clients as needed.
* Collaborate with Senior Accountants to ensure accurate review and submission of financial documents.
* Handle bookkeeping tasks, VAT returns, and prepare full sets of statutory year-end accounts and tax returns.

**Requirements:**

* Proficiency in bookkeeping software such as Xero, QuickBooks, VT, and Freeagent.
* Experience in preparing VAT returns and statutory year-end accounts.
* Excellent communication skills for client interaction and liaison with regulatory authorities.
* Prior experience in an accounting role preferred.
