About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at Voyage Care Ltd. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in leading our residential service and supporting individuals with autism and complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
  • Allocate shifts and tasks to team members, ensuring effective use of resources and minimizing downtime.
  • Support the Manager with training, induction, and supervision of new colleagues.
  • Assist with medication management and ensure individuals are supported to manage their finances.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring goals and objectives are met.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker or equivalent role.
  • Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and complex mental health needs.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
