Job Summary:

Randstad Construction & Property is seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Kent. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure sub-contractors, agree prices, and let packages
  • Negotiate costs with various parties
  • Draft contracts (NEC)
  • Prepare monthly reports (CVR)
  • Manage work package change control and management
  • Deal with pricing variations
  • Responsible for project re-measure
  • Prepare final accounts

Requirements:

  • Degree/HND in Quantity Surveying
  • Excellent IT and maths skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent report writing and negotiation skills
  • Experience in highways, bridges, infrastructure, environmental, frameworks, and special works
