Position Overview

Brook Street is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accounts Coordinator to enhance our Accounts team.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and play a vital part in the preparation of monthly financial reports and year-end financial statements. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the management of both purchase and sales ledgers.
  • Handling accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Assisting with payroll processing and administration.
  • Engaging with the nominal ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Conducting reconciliation tasks to maintain financial integrity.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of part qualification or equivalent experience in accounting.
  • Experience in the automotive sector is preferred.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current accounting standards and practices.
  • A solid understanding of financial processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other financial software.
  • A flexible approach to working hours to meet business needs.
