About the Role:

Randstad Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join Rochdale Council's Cared for Children Service. This is a full-time position offering a competitive pay rate of £35 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of complex cases, providing expert advice to other social workers.
  • Support and supervise less experienced social workers, students, and trainees.
  • Participate in case planning and review.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, families, and carers.
  • Provide advice and support to promote independence and early intervention.
  • Liaise with colleagues and external agencies to gather relevant information.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case notes and records.

Requirements:

  • Social Work England registration.
