Relief Support Worker

We are seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our team at Mencap, a leading organization providing support to individuals with a learning disability. As a Relief Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and independence of our service users.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting Independence - Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as budget management, paying bills, and cooking healthy meals.
- Building Relationships - Foster positive relationships with service users, promoting understanding and social inclusion.
- Community Involvement - Support individuals to access and participate in local community events, promoting life skills and individuality.
- Personal Care - Provide assistance with personal care tasks, such as bathing, showering, and using the bathroom.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work flexibly across various shifts. You should also have a positive attitude, a desire to make a difference, and a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
