Clinical Research Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Research Nurse to join our Renal and Oesophagogastric Research team at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality clinical trials and contributing to the advancement of cancer care.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in oncology nursing and experience in working in a clinical research environment. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing excellent patient care. You will work closely with our Senior Clinical Research Nurse and other team members to ensure the smooth delivery of trials and the provision of high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage clinical trials, including recruitment, data collection, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including ICH-GCP and research governance framework
- Provide excellent patient care, including education and support
- Work closely with the Senior Clinical Research Nurse and other team members to ensure the smooth delivery of trials
- Participate in monitoring and audit activities within the research team
- Registered General Nurse with current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council
- First Degree or relevant clinical experience
- Post-graduate qualification in oncology and/or clinical research
- GCP/ICH recognised recent training
