Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Manager to join our regional design management team. As a Senior Design Manager, you will play a crucial role in the management and control of the design process for a project, ensuring that design information packages align with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Development and Implementation of Design Proposals: Develop and implement design proposals that meet project requirements and ensure designs and proposals are fit for purpose.
  2. Management of Design Team: Manage and lead a design team to ensure timely delivery of design information packages.
  3. Engagement with Commercial and Operational Teams: Engage with commercial and operational teams to ensure design information packages align with project requirements.
  4. Quality Management: Ensure quality management of design information packages and ensure designs and proposals meet project requirements.
  5. Design Deliverables Programming: Program design deliverables to ensure timely delivery of design information packages.
  6. Meetings Facilitation: Facilitate design team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  7. Sustainability Management: Ensure sustainability management of design information packages and ensure designs and proposals meet project requirements.
  8. Document Control and Resource Management: Manage document control and resource management to ensure timely delivery of design information packages.

Requirements:

We are looking for a Senior Design Manager with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a Tier 1 main contractor background or larger regional contractor background, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. CAD knowledge is a plus. Organised with excellent time management skills.
