About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing excellent customer service, and leading a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the team to deliver a clean, well-stocked store that exceeds customer expectations
- Take ownership of running duty shifts and make decisions to ensure the store runs efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service, listening to customers and helping to resolve any issues
- Coach and develop colleagues to improve their skills and performance
- Maintain a great understanding of store performance and assist managers in delivering actions to improve the store
What We Offer
We offer a competitive rate of pay, starting from £14.28 an hour, with opportunities for increases based on location and skills. We also offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with flexibility to work fewer hours if desired. Our Shift Leaders are valued and supported, with opportunities for career development and growth.
