Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive software and hardware support to training facilities.
  • Travel as needed to address and resolve technical discrepancies.
  • Be prepared for urgent travel to provide technical assistance.
  • Design and execute testing protocols.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures.
  • Collaborate with customers to review and validate solutions.
  • Work closely with on-site teams to gather technical information.
  • Build and maintain relationships to ensure effective resolution of issues.
  • Assist with regional projects and service deliveries.
  • Enhance systems knowledge and mentor junior technicians.
  • Perform any additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • A technical degree or substantial experience in aeronautical engineering.
  • Proven experience in the design, development, and maintenance of simulators.
  • At least 5 years of software design experience using C/C++ or FORTRAN.
  • Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux and Unix.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant technologies.
  • Strong understanding of aeronautical principles.
  • Proficient English communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Capability to work independently and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to identify and manage component/interface challenges.
  • Resourceful and capable of taking independent actions.
